I can agree that nobody can know for sure what &quot;Web 3.0&quot; is. Yet there are sources suggesting to look at the Semantic Web.

Namely, a NYT article by John Markov that appeared at the end of last year says that Semantic Web and Web 3.0 are the same thing. The article itself requires login, but here&#039;s a &lt;a href=&quot;http://grumpytech.blogspot.com/2006/11/web-30.html&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;blog post reporting about it&lt;/a&gt;. Wikipedia has some content on &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_3.0&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Web 3.0&lt;/a&gt; as well.
