I just upgraded my Apple TV with the new “Take Two” update. Everything works as promised, and I noticed one extra goodie in the video settings dialog. The Apple TV now natively supports 1080p video output!
Attached photographic proof!

So you can view an iPhoto slide show in 1920×1080 pixels?
To good to be true…
Too good to be true is right. All content is 720p; the 1080p is merely upscaled from that.
А на повестке дня только глянцевый гламур или всесторонний охват? А то вот я мыслей имею всяких много, а визуализировать их не умею…

To Tom Hundt: Trying to interpret your Oct 14 comment that all content is 720p on Apple TV, and simply upscaled. Does this mean if you have a 1920 x 1080 photo it can only be stored on the Apple TV as 1280 x 720, and is then upscaled to 1920 x 1080 by the device?
Is this the same for 1080p/i video content on the Apple TV?
Also, can you add external storage to the Apple TV via the USB 2.0 port, or is this purely a service port?
Thanks
Мне кажется это не совсем точно. На эту тему имеется несколько мнений. И у каждого человека со своим мировоззрением свое мнение.
