At 14, I published an article in Centennial Middle School’s online newspaper and helped build ThinkQuest astronomy entry 3516 with two other students.

While I was still in high school, I administered AIX, Windows NT, and Novell systems and built small Perl and JavaScript tools.
I later paid my way through about three semesters at Front Range Community College, but I did not complete a degree.

I led Azure-side storage work supporting OpenAI and Microsoft AI. The architecture covered checkpointing, one namespace across storage clusters, placement and routing near compute, data movement, capacity, clients, reliability, and the production operating loop.

OpenAI’s large-scale Dota 2 technical report included me in its Microsoft Azure Support acknowledgment.
My role was Azure product and infrastructure work underneath the models.

I returned to the program that supported me as a child and eventually served as Board Chair.

I led Azure Blob’s storage and data workstream for Microsoft’s Fairwater AI datacenter program, coordinating regional capacity, pre-staging, service-side data movement, performance, reliability, and operations with the larger infrastructure team.
